Not tax advice. All numbers, tokens and signatures below are EXAMPLE data. This guide covers record-keeping only. How any of this is treated where you live is a question for a tax professional.
Trading terminals and Telegram bots make memecoin trades fast, but the record they leave is usually a dashboard, not a file. A trade log needs one row per asset that moved, with a signature you can check. The good news: if the trade ran on Solana, its swap is on-chain under your wallet address, whichever app sent it. This guide builds rows from those signatures and points out the extra fees that bots and terminals add.
We checked the official documentation of two popular platforms.
Axiom. Its docs describe a Spot Portfolio with balance, unrealized PNL, a PNL chart and an "activity feed [that] logs recent buy and sell transactions ... with direct links to solscan for more analysis". Perpetuals have a separate portfolio with a "Trade History tab" (docs.axiom.trade). Its fee page lists a net fee per tier (e.g. "Net Fee: 0.95%") and says traders "receive cashback in Solana" (docs.axiom.trade). We found no trade-history file export in the Axiom docs we checked.
GMGN. Its wallet page lets you "jump to solscan.io to query wallet activities" (docs.gmgn.ai). Its Agent API, which needs an API key, lists a Portfolio capability to "track historical transaction activity and PnL data" (docs.gmgn.ai). We found no trade-history file export in the GMGN docs we checked.
We left BullX and Photon out because we couldn't confirm from their own websites which documentation is official.
A dashboard's PnL is the platform's own calculation, not your FIFO record. Use it as a cross-check, not as a source.
A terminal trade can carry a platform fee on top of the network fee, priority fee and possibly a tip. For fees: enter the combined fee once per swap, on the token's row, in fiat, and do it the same way all year. Write which parts you include in Notes (H). See priority fees and Jito tips.
Cashback paid back to you in SOL isn't a swap. Note its date, amount and signature in H. How it's treated is a question for a tax professional.
1 SOL swapped into MEMEX with SOL at 150, a platform fee of 0.0095 SOL and a priority fee of 0.001 SOL (0.0105 SOL × 150 = 1.58). Four days later the MEMEX is sold for 1.5625 SOL with SOL at 160, with fees of 0.0159 SOL (2.54).
| Date | Type | Token | Qty | Price | Fee | G |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025-06-01 | Buy | SOL | 2 | 140 | 0 | EXCH-1 |
| 2025-06-05 | Sell | SOL | 1 | 150 | 0 | sigT1 |
| 2025-06-05 | Buy | MEMEX | 1,000,000 | 0.00015 | 1.58 | sigT1 |
| 2025-06-09 | Sell | MEMEX | 1,000,000 | 0.00025 | 2.54 | sigT2 |
| 2025-06-09 | Buy | SOL | 1.5625 | 160 | 0 | sigT2 |
Recalculated in the shipped workbook: the SOL Sell shows +10.00. The MEMEX lot costs 151.58, the sale's proceeds are 247.46, and realized is +95.88. The 2025 Summary shows 105.88 with fees of 4.12, holdings are SOL 2.5625 and MEMEX 0, and every row is OK.
The same swap pasted twice (the sigT1 pair duplicated) still shows every row OK. But the Summary becomes 115.88 with fees of 5.70, and holdings show 1,000,000 MEMEX you don't have. One signature should appear on at most one pair of rows.
The Nah Crypto Tax Tracker is an .xlsx plus a PDF guide with plain formulas and no macros: Buy/Sell rows, Tx hash in G, Notes in H, FIFO by date then row order, an OVERSOLD flag and a per-year Summary for 2024 to 2030. FIFO only; not tailored to any country's tax rules. 29 USDC one-time: Nah Crypto Tax Tracker. Not tax advice.
